* South Africa's 353 was fifth highest total in World Cups.

* Herschelle Gibbs blasted 6-sixes in an over -  which was World record in ODI cricket history.

* 36-runs : Number of runs that were scored in the 30th over from Daan van Bunge, which was the most productive over in ODI cricket history, Herschelle Gibbs scored 36 of those runs (6,6,6,6,6,6), which is the World record for most runs off single over.

* Mark Boucher blasted 21-ball fastest ever fifty in World Cups,  broken the Brian Lara's 23-ball 50 against Canada at Centurion in 2003.

South Africa scored mammoth total of 353-3 in 40 overs - due to rain overs reduced from 50 to 40-overs per side with top scorer by Jacques Kallis smashed a unbeaten 128 off 109-balls - which was his 15th ODI hundred.

Mark Boucher hammered a flurry 31-ball 75-runs including nine-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 241.93.

Herschelle Gibbs cracked a rapid 40-ball 72-runs and Graeme Smith struck 67 off 59-balls including six-fours and 2-sixes.

Netherlands best bowler by Billy Stelling, Peter Borren and Luuk van Troost each took one-wickets.

Netherlands scored 132-9 in 40 overs with top scorer by Ryan ten Doeschate struck 54 off 74-balls including 8-fours and a six, Tim de Leede scored 21 and Alexei Kervezee 17.

South Africa best bowler by Justin Kemp takes two-wickets, Shaun Pollock, Andrew Hall, Charl Langeveldt and Graeme Smith each took one-wickets.

Herschelle Gibbs named Player of the match for record batting performance to hit six-sixes in an over and scoring 72-runs knocked off 40-balls including 7-fours and 4-sixes.
