England scored 293-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Jonathan Trott struck 76 off 87-balls including five-fours, Joe Root cracked a 68 off 55-balls included five-fours, Alastair Cook scored 59 off 85 deliveries with three boundaries.
Ravi Bopara hammered a 13-ball 33-runs with two-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 253.84 and Ian Bell scored 20.
Sri Lanka chased 297-3 in 47.1 overs with top scorer by Kumar Sangakkara 134 not out- which was his 15th ODI hundred.
