* Mahela Jayawardene smashed his 100 off 80 balls, making it the fastest century in World Cups by a Sri Lankan batsman. The previous record was held by Sanath Jayasuriya, who scored his century off 85 balls against Bangladesh in the 2007 World Cup.

* With their ninth century partnership between Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara went past the pairing of Aravinda de Silva and Arjuna Ranatunga, who have eight century stands in ODIs. They are now second only to Jayasuriya and Marvan Atapattu, who have 14 century partnerships.

* The 179-run partnership between Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene is the second highest third-wicket partnership for Sri Lanka in World Cups.

* Sri Lanka hammered their sixth score over 300 in World Cups, which is second only to Australia, who have 13 scores over 300. Three of Sri Lanka's 300-plus scores came in the 2007 World Cup.

* The 210 run victory margin is Sri Lanka's second highest in World Cup matches and the seventh highest overall in World Cup matches.

Sri Lanka scored massive total of 332-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Mahela Jayawardene 100 - which was his 13th ODI hundred, Kumar Sangakkara 92 off 87-balls including 7-fours and a six.

Tillakaratne Dilshan scored a delightful 50 off 59-balls included eight boundaries, Angelo Mathews scored 21, Upul Tharanga 19 and Thilan Samaraweera 18 not out.

Canada best bowler by John Davison, Harvir Baidwan both took two-wickets and one for Rizwan Cheema.

Canada scored 122 for all-out in 36.5 overs with top scorer by Rizwan Cheema struck 37 off 39-balls including four-fours and two-sixes, Ashish Bagai scored 22 and Harvir Baidwan 16.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Nuwan Kulasekara, Thisara Perera both picked up 3-wickets, Muttiah Muralitharan takes two-wickets, Thilan Samaraweera and Ajantha Mendis each took one-wickets.
