Praveen Kumar four-wicket haul after a Sachin Tendulkar's brilliant 91 helped to India narrow 9-run victory over Australia, despite a fightback knock from James Hopes and clinch the CB Tri-series with 2-0.

India scored 258-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Sachin Tendulkar 91 off 121-balls - who fell nine-run short of his 43rd ODI century including seven boundaries, Yuvraj Singh cracked a run-a-ball 38-runs included two-fours and 2-sixes, MS Dhoni scored 36 and Robin Uthappa 30.

Australia best bowler by Nathan Bracken, Michael Clarke both picked up 3-wickets, Andrew Symonds, Stuart Clark and Brett Lee each took one-wickets.

Australia scored 249 for all-out in 49.4 overs with top scorer by James Hopes struck 63 off 80-balls including four-fours and a six, Matthew Hayden cracked a 55 off 68-balls included seven boundaries, Michael Hussey scored 44 and Andrew Symonds 42.

India best bowler by Praveen Kumar claims 4-46, Sreesanth, Irfan Pathan both took two-wickets and one for Harbhajan Singh.

Praveen Kumar named Player of the match for his excellent swing bowling attack to claimed 4-wickets for 46-runs in 10-overs including two maidens.

Nathan Bracken earned player of the series for his brilliant bowling performance to claimed 21-wickers in the Commonwealth Bank Tri-series.
