Ross Taylor's record-equal century before Bowlers attack helped to New Zealand comprehensive 110-run victory over Pakistan in the 24th match of a World Cup.

* 4 : Ross Taylor equalled a joint third most centuries hit for New Zealand in One-day internationals, jointly with Stephen Fleming, Chris Cairns, Martin Crowe and Scott Styris.

* Ross Taylor became the ninth New Zealand batsman to score a hundred against Pakistan in One-day internationals.

* Ross Taylor's 131* was the joint tenth highest score for New Zealand in One-day international and the joint highest-score by an New Zealand batsman against Pakistan in ODIs, jointly 131 held by Brendon McCullum at Abu Dhabi in 2009.

* 7 : Ross Taylor equalled a joint third most sixes hit in an innings for New Zealand in One-day international, jointly with Chris Cairns and Craig McMillan, the most sixes hit by an New Zealand batsman against Pakistan in an innings in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 6-sixes jointly hit by Chris Cairns and Jesse Ryder, also the most sixes hit by an New Zealand batsman in World Cup, surpassing the previous record of 6-sixes hit by Scott Styris against Sri Lanka at Bloemfontein in the 2003 World Cup and the joint fourth in the list of most sixes hit in an innings in World Cups.

New Zealand scored massive total of 302-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Ross Taylor 131 not out - which was his 4th ODI hundred, his first century against Pakistan in ODIs and also his first ODI hundred in World Cups.

Martin Guptill struck 57 off 86-balls including 6-fours, Scott Styris cracked a 28 off 37-balls included a boundary,

Jacob Oram hammered a 9-ball 25-runs with 3-sixes & a four and Nathan McCullum scored 19 off 10-balls including 2-sixes and a four.

Pakistan best bowler by Umar Gul picked up 3-wickets, Mohammad Hafeez, Shahid Afridi, Abdur Rehman and Shoaib Akhtar each took one-wickets.

Pakistan scored 192 for all-out in 41.4 overs with top scorer by Abdul Razzaq struck 62 off 74-balls including nine-fours, Kamran Akmal scored 38 off 58-balls included 3-fours and Umar Gul hammered a 25-ball 34-runs with 3-fours and a six.

New Zealand best bowler by Tim Southee picked up 3-wickets, Scott Styris, Nathan McCullum, Kyle Mills each took two-wickets and one for Jacob Oram.

Ross Taylor named Player of the match for his power-hitting batting performance to smashed a record-equal career-best unbeaten 131-runs knocked off facing 124-balls including 8-fours and 7-sixes with strike rate of 105.64.
