* 10 : Upul Tharanga equalled a joint fifth most centuries hit for Sri Lanka in One-day internationals, jointly with Kumar Sangakkara.

Sri Lanka scored massive total of 327-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Tillakaratne Dilshan 144 - which was his 9th ODI hundred, his second century against Zimbabwe in ODIs and his first ODI hundred in World Cups.

Upul Tharanga 133 off 141-balls - which was his 10th ODI hundred, his second century against Zimbabwe in ODIs and his first ODI hundred in World Cups - including 17-fours.

* 282 : Upul Tharanga and Tillakaratne Dilshan set up the record first-wicket partnership in World Cup history, surpassing the previous record held by the 194-run stand between Saeed Anwar and Wajahatullah Wasti against New Zealand at Manchester in the 1999 World Cup, It is the Sri Lanka's second highest opening stand in ODIs, It is the fourth-highest any-wicket partnership in ODIs and the second highest any-wicket stand in World Cups.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Chris Mpofu claimed 4-wicket haul for 62-runs in 7-overs, Ray Price and Prosper Utseya each took one-wickets.

Zimbabwe scored 188 for all-out in 39-overs with top scorer by Brendan Taylor struck 80 off 72-balls including nine-fours and a six, Regis Chakabva scored 35, Craig Ervine 17 and Graeme Cremer 14 not out.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Tillakaratne Dilshan claims 4-4, Muttiah Muralitharan picked up 3-wickets, Angelo Mathews took two-wickets and one for Thisara Perera.

Tillakaratne Dilshan named player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance to magnificent 144 off facing 131-balls including 16-fours & a six and his excellent spin bowling attack to claimed 4-wicket haul for 4 in 3-overs.
