All-round West Indies crushing six-wicket victory over Zimbabwe and qualifying for Super Eights in the 13th match of a ICC Cricket World Cup.
* Brian Lara became the 7th batsman to score 1000-runs in World Cups.
Zimbabwe scored 202-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Sean Williams 70 not out, Brendan Taylor struck 50 off consuming 121-balls including one-four and a six, Elton Chigumbura cracked a unbeaten 30 off 29-balls included five boundaries and Stuart Matsikenyeri 16.
West Indies best bowler by Jerome Taylor takes two-wickets, Darren Powell and Dwayne Smith each took one-wickets.
West Indies chased 204-4 in 47.5 overs with top scorer by Brian Lara scored a unbeaten 44 off 68-balls including 2-fours and a six, Chris Gayle struck 40 off 48-balls included 3-sixes and 3-fours.
Dwayne Bravo cracked a 37 not out off 46 deliveries with 3-fours & 2-sixes, Marlon Samuels scored 28 and Shivnarine Chanderpaul 21.
Zimbabwe best bowler by Tawanda Mupariwa, Chris Mpofu and Anthony Ireland each took one-wickets.
Sean Williams named Player of the match for his spectacular batting display of scoring a unbeaten 70-runs knocked off 88-balls including 7-fours.
