All-round Australia registered a their historic first T20I win against England by massive 77-run in a one-off T20 international.

Match Stats : 
  • Australia's 77-run win was their second largest victory by terms of runs in T20 internationals.
  • England's 77-run defeat was their worst by margin of runs in T20Is.
  • Australia's 221 was the highest score ever in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the their own record of 214 against New Zealand at Auckland in the last year.
  • 64 : James Anderson became the most runs conceded by a bowler in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 50-runs conceded by Daryl Tuffey against Australia in the first ever T20I in 2005.
  • Cameron White became the second Australian player to win the Man-of-the-match award on debut T20I match and overall the ninth player in T20Is.
  • England's 144 was their joint lowest score in T20 internationals.

Australia scored record total of 221-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Adam Gilchrist blasted a 48 off 29-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 5-sixes & two-fours with strike rate of 165.51.

Ricky Ponting hammered a 47 off 26-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 180.76, Debutant Cameron White - who scored a unbeaten 40-runs on his debut T20I match.

Andrew Symonds cracked a unbeaten 39 off 22-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 177.27.

Matthew Hayden hammered a 20 off 8-balls including 3-fours & a six with striking rate of 250 and Michael Hussey cracked a 18 off 9-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 200.

England best bowler by Debutant Monty Panesar -who takes two-wickets on his debut T20I, Paul Collingwood took one-wicket  and Debutant James Anderson - who took one-wicket on his debut T20I match.

England scored 144-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Jamie Dalrymple struck 32 off 27-balls including 4-fours.

Debutant Paul Nixon - who cracked a unbeaten 31 off 22-balls on his debut T20I - including included 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 140.91.

Michael Vaughan cracked a 27 off 21-balls including 4-fours and Ian Bell scored a run-a-ball 22-runs.

Australia best bowler by Debutant Ben Hilfenhaus -who took 2-wickets on his debut T20I match, Andrew Symonds takes two-wickets, Nathan Bracken took one-wicket.

Debutants Cameron White and Shane Harwood - who took 1-wickets on their debut T20I match.

Debutant Cameron White named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took one-wicket after scoring a quick-fire 40-runs off facing 20-balls including 4-sixes and a four with strike rate of 200.
