Bowlers sets up to Australia comfortable nine-wicket victory over World Champions India in a one-sided game of the one-off T20 international.

Australia chased 75 was their lowest successful run-chase in T20 internationals, previous lowest chase was 102 against Sri Lanka at Cape Town in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20. India's 74 was their lowest score in the completed innings in T20 international, previous lowest was 141 against Pakistan at Durban in the 2007 World Twenty20 and the second worst total in T20Is. Australia's 9-wicket win was their joint second largest victory by terms of wickets remaining in T20 international, it is their 2nd time win by nine wickets and 1st time Australia had defeated India by nine or more wickets in T20Is.

India scored 74 for all-out in 17.3 overs with top scorer by Irfan Pathan 26, MS Dhoni 9, Dinesh Karthik and Rohit Sharma each scored 8-runs.

Australia best bowler by Nathan Bracken picked up 3-wickets for 11-runs in 2.3 overs, Adam Voges takes 2-wickets for 5-runs in 2-overs.

James Hopes, Brett Lee, Ashley Noffke each took one-wickets and Debutant David Hussey - who took one-wicket on his debut T20I match.

Australia chased 75-1 in 11.2 overs with top scorer by Michael Clarke 37 not out and Adam Gilchrist 25 and Brad Hodge 10 not out.

India best bowler by debutant Praveen Kumar - who took one-wicket on his debut T20I match.

Michael Clarke named Player of the match for his match-winning unbeaten 37-runs knocked off facing 36-balls including one-six and a four.
