A crucial unbeaten 57-run stand between Moeen Ali and David Willey before Bowlers attack helped to England hard-fought 15-run victory over Afghanistan in a tight Super 10 contest of a ICC World Twenty20.
England 85-7 to scored 142-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Moeen Ali 41 not out, James Vince 22, David Willey 20 not out and Chris Jordan 15.
Afghanistan best bowler by Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan both took 2-wickets and one for Samiullah Shinwari - Amir Hamza.
Afghanistan scored 127-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Shafiqullah cracked a unbeaten 35 off 20-balls including 4-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 175, Samiullah Shinwari scored 22, Noor Ali Zadran 17 and Rashid Khan 15.
England best bowler by Adil Rashid, David Willey both takes 2-wickets, Moeen Ali, Chris Jordan and Ben Stokes each took one-wickets.
Moeen Ali named Player of the match for his valuable unbeaten 41-runs knocked off facing 33-balls including 4-fours and a six with strike rate of 124.24.
