India beat Pakistan by 3-0 in a bowl-out after Sreesanth holds nerve as match-tied in a high-voltage tenth match of a ICC World Twenty20.

- This is the MS Dhoni's first international match win as captain, Dhoni captained India for the first time in his 2nd match. He became the second player to captain for India in a T20Is after Virender Sehwag.
- Mohammad Asif 4 for 18 was the best bowling figures for Pakistan in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 4 for 19 held by Shahid Afridi against Scotland in this tournament, It is the second best bowling figures in T20Is and the also the second best figures in World Twenty20 after Mark Gillespie's 4 for 7.
- This is the second Twenty20 international match to end in a tie and the first in World Twenty20 games.
- India's 141 was their highest score ever in T20 international, previous highest total was 127 against South Africa at Johannesburg in the last year.
