James Anderson's five-for before Half-centuries from Alastair Cook, Joe Root and Jonathan Trott steers to England emphatic eight-wicket victory over New Zealand, despite a brilliant century from Ross Taylor and level the series with 1-1 in the second ODI.

* James Anderson's 5 for 34 was his second best bowling performance for England in One-day international and the second best bowling figures by an England bowler against New Zealand in ODIs after Vic Marks' 5 for 20.

* England chased 270 was their joint seventh highest successful run-chase in One-day international and It is their second highest chase in ODIs.

* Ross Taylor became the eighth New Zealand batsman to score a hundred against England in One-day internationals.

* 100 : Ross Taylor and Brendon McCullum set up the third highest fifth-wicket partnership for New Zealand against England in One-day internationals.

* 121* : Jonathan Trott and Joe Root set up the third highest third-wicket partnership for England against New Zealand in One-day internationals.

* New Zealand lost their last six wickets for just 26-runs - which was their joint tenth worst last six-wicket collapse in One-day international and It is their second worst 6-wicket collapse against England in ODIs. They went from 243 for 4 to 269  for all out.

Brendon McCullum's strike rate of 205.55 is the highest for a fifty-plus score for New Zealand against England in One-day internationals, he holds the top three spots on the list of best strike rates.

New Zealand scored 269 for all-out in 48.5 overs with top scorer by Ross Taylor 100 off 117-balls - which was his 7th ODI hundred and his first century against England in ODIs - including 9-fours & a six.

Brendon McCullum hammered a 74 off 36-balls including 9-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 205.55, Kane Williamson struck 33 off 47-balls included 3-fours and Grant Elliott scored 23.

England best bowler by James Anderson claimed a 5-wicket haul for 34-runs in 9.5-overs including two maidens, Chris Woakes picked up 3-wickets and one for Steven Finn - Stuart Broad.

England chased 270-2 in 50 overs with top scorer by Joe Root hammered a unbeaten 79 off 56-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 141.07.

Alastair Cook struck 78 off 92-balls including 7-fours & a six, Jonathan Trott cracked a unbeaten 65 off 73-balls included 3-fours and Ian Bell scored 44 off 65-balls with 5-fours.

New Zealand best bowler by Kane Williamson and Tim Southee each took one-wickets.
