Magnificent Michael Bevan century inspired to Australia thrilling 26-run victory over India, despite a Sachin Tendulkar masterclass ton and India qualify for the finals in the Coca-Cola Cup sixth match of a three-nation tournament.

* Sachin Tendulkar's a brilliant 142 helped to India cross the required 237-runs to edge New Zealand for a spot in Point Table, Australia, which finished unbeaten in the tournament.

Australia scored 284-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Michael Bevan scored a unbeaten 101 off 103-balls - which was his 3rd ODI hundred - including nine boundaries.

Mark Waugh struck 81 off 99-balls including 7-fours and 2-sixes, Ricky Ponting cracked a 31 off 26-balls included 4-fours & a six and Darren Lehmann scored 25.

India best bowler by Venkatesh Prasad takes two-wickets, Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Harvinder Singh and Harbhajan Singh each took one-wickets.

India scored 250-5 in the allotted 46 overs - sand storm disrupted the play by about 25 minutes and revised target of 276 in 46-overs - with top scorer by Sachin Tendulkar 142 - which was his 14th ODI hundred.

Nayan Mongia struck 35 off 46-balls including 4-fours and a six, VVS Laxman 23 not out and Sourav Ganguly 17.

Australia best bowler by Tom Moody, Damien Fleming both took two-wickets and one for Steve Waugh.

Sachin Tendulkar named player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a sparkling 142 off 131-balls including 9-fours and 5-sixes.
