Umar Gul's three-for after a blazing half-century from Imran Nazir helped to Pakistan cruise six-wicket victory over New Zealand and storm into the final in the first semi-final of a ICC World Twenty20.
New Zealand scored 143-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Ross Taylor cracked a unbeaten 37 off 23-balls including 2-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 160.86.
Lou Vincent struck a run-a-ball 28-runs, Brendon McCullum scored 26 and Scott Styris 18.
Pakistan best bowler by Umar Gul 3-15, Fawad Alam took two-wickets and one for Shahid Afridi.
Pakistan chased 147-4 in 18.5 overs with top scorer by Imran Nazir blasted a 59 off 41-balls including five-sixes and 3-fours with strike rate of 143.90.
