All-round Scotland cruising to via DLS method eight-wicket victory over Hong Kong and ended their drought at ICC Global events in a rain-affected First Round game of a ICC World Twenty20.
Hong Kong scored 127-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Mark Chapman struck 41 off 40-balls including one-six & a four, Anshuman Rath 21, Nizakat Khan 17 and Babar Hayat 15.
Scotland best bowler by Matt Machan takes 2-wickets, Gavin Main, Con de Lange, Mark Watt and Josh Davey each took one-wickets.
Scotland chased 78-2 in 8-overs - due to rain revised target of 76 in 10-overs - with top scorer by Matthew Cross 22, Kyle Coetzer 20 not out, George Munsey 19 and Matt Machan 15 not out.
Hong Kong best bowler by Aizaz Khan and Nadeem Ahmed both took one-wickets.
Matt Machan named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took 2-wickets and scoring a unbeaten 15 off 4-balls including one-six and a four with strike rate of 375.
