Sri Lanka best bowler by Muttiah Muralitharan claimed 4-wicket haul for 19-runs in 5-overs, Farveez Maharoof claims 4-25 and Chaminda Vaas took one-wicket.

Sri Lanka chased 81-2 in 10-overs with top scorer by Mahela Jayawardene cracked a unbeaten 39 off 27-balls including 6-fours & a six and Sanath Jayasuriya scored 24 not out off 20-balls included 3-fours and a six.

Ireland best bowler by Dave Langford-Smith and Boyd Rankin each took one-wickets.

Farveez Maharoof named Player of the match for his excellent bowling performance to claimed 4-wickets for 25-runs in 10-overs including three maidens with economy rate of 2.50.
