Mohammad Shahzad and Shafiqullah powers to Afghanistan crushing seven-wicket victory over Hong Kong in the fifty match of a ICC World Twenty20.
* Shafiqullah hammered a 24-ball fastest fifty by an Afghanistan batsman in T20 internationals.
Hong Kong scored 153-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Mark Chapman struck 38 off 43-balls including 3-fours & a six, Waqas Barkat cracked a run-a-ball 32-runs included 3-fours.
Jamie Atkinson blasted a 31 off 20-balls including five-fours and a six with strike rate of 155.
Afghanistan best bowler by Shapoor Zadran, Mohammad Nabi, Amir Hamza each took two-wickets and one for Dawlat Zadran.
Afghanistan chased 154-3 in 18 overs with top scorer by Mohammad Shahzad 68 and Shafiqullah blasted a unbeaten 51 off 24-balls including 5-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 212.50.
Hong Kong best bowler by Tanvir Afzal, Haseeb Amjad and Aizaz Khan each took one-wickets.
Mohammad Shahzad named Player of the match for his spectacular batting display of scoring 68 off 53-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 128.30.
