David Warner's own record-breaking fifty and Shane Watson's rapid half-century powers to Australia comfortable eight-wicket victory over West Indies and clinch the two-match series 2-0 whitewash in a one-sided game of the second T20I.

* David Warner hammered a 18-ball second fastest fifty in T20 international and the fastest fifty by an Australian batsman in T20Is, surpassing the his own record of 19-ball half-century against South Africa at Melbourne in 2009.

* 7 : David Warner hit the most sixes in an innings by an Australian batsman in T20 internationals and the joint third in the list of most sixes in an innings in T20Is.

* Shane Watson equalled a 26-ball joint fourth fastest fifty for Australia in T20 internationals, jointly with Andrew Symonds and the second fastest fifty by an Australian batsman against West Indies in T20Is after David Warner's 18-ball half-century in this match.

* 99 : Shane Watson and David Warner set up the record first-wicket partnership for Australia against West Indies in T20 international, previously held by the 83-run stand between these same pair at Hobart in the first T20I and Australia's third highest opening stand in T20Is.

* 56 : Nikita Miller became the most runs conceded by an West Indies bowler in T20 international, surpassing the previous record of 52-run conceded by Marlon Samuels against England at The Oval in the inagural 2007 World Twenty20 and the joint eighth in the list of most runs conceded by a bowler in T20Is, jointly with Brett Lee (56).

West Indies scored 138-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Narsingh Deonarine cracked a unbeaten 36 off 29-balls including 4-fours, Travis Dowlin struck 31 off 32-balls with 3-fours and Darren Sammy blasted a unbeaten 26 off 11-balls included 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 236.36.

Australia best bowler by debutants Ryan Harris and Daniel Christian both took 2-wickets on their debut T20I match, Shane Watson and Shaun Tait both took one-wickets.

Australia chased 142-2 in 11.4 overs with top scorer by David Warner 67 and Shane Watson hammered a unbeaten 62 off 33-balls including 4-sixes & 4-fours with strike rate of 187.87.

West Indies best bowler by Nikita Miller took 2-wickets for 56-runs in 3.4 overs.

David Warner named Player of the match for his match-winning power-hitting unbeaten rapid 67-runs knocked off facing 29-balls including 7-sixes and 5-fours with strike rate of 231.03.
