Dwayne Smith's rapid half-century and Chris Gayle's run-a-ball 48 before Samuel Badree's four-for, Krishmar Santokie and Andre Russell's combined 5-wickets helped to West Indies massive 73-run victory over Bangladesh in a one-sided game of the 20th match of a World Twenty20.
* West Indies's 73-run win was their second largest victory by terms of runs in T20 internationals and also it is their second biggest victory in World Twenty20.
* Bangladesh's 73-run defeat was their second worst by margin of runs in T20 internationals. They had lost to Pakistan by 103 in a one-off T20I in Karachi in 2008.
* Bangladesh's 98 was their third lowest score in T20 internationals and also it is their second worst score in World Twenty20.
* Samuel Badree's 4 for 15 was the second best bowling figures for West Indies in T20 international, it is West Indies' best figures in World Twenty20 and West Indies' best figures against Bangladesh in T20Is.
West Indies scored 171-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Dwayne Smith 72, Chris Gayle cracked a run-a-ball 48-runs including 3-fours & 2-sixes, Marlon Samuels 18.
Bangladesh best bowler by Al-Amin Hossain picked up 3-wickets for 21-runs in 4-overs, Ziaur Rahman, Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah each took one-wickets.
Bangladesh scored 98 for all-out in 19.1 overs with top scorer by Mushfiqur Rahim 22, Mashrafe Mortaza 19 and Mominul Haque 16.
West Indies best bowler by Samuel Badree claimed career-best 4-wicket haul for 15-runs in 4-overs, Krishmar Santokie picked up 3-wickets for 17-runs in 4-overs.
Andre Russell took 2-wickets for 10-runs in 2.1 overs and Sunil Narine takes 1-wicket.
Dwayne Smith named Player of the match for his rapid 72-runs knocked off facing 43-balls including 10-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 167.44.
