Nasir Jamshed's quick-fire half-century before Saeed Ajmal's four-for helped to Pakistan narrow 13-run victory over New Zealand in the ninth match of a World Twenty20.
* Saeed Ajmal's 4 for 30 was his fourth best bowling performance for Pakistan in T20 international and Pakistan's best figures against New Zealand in T20Is.
Pakistan scored 177-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Nasir Jamshed 56, Mohammaf Hafeez struck 43 off 38-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours, Imran Nazir blasted a 25 off 16-balls included 5-fours with strike rate of 156.25.
Umar Akmal cracked a 23 off 15-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike-rate of 153.33.
New Zealand best bowler by Tim Southee, Jacob Oram both took two-wickets and one for James Franklin - Daniel Vettori.
New Zealand scored 164-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Rob Nicol struck 33 off 28-balls including 3-fours & a six, Brendon McCullum cracked a 32 off 31-balls included four-fours & a six, Daniel Vettori 18 and Kane Williamson 15.
Pakistan best bowler by Saeed Ajmal claimed 4-wicket haul for 30-runs in 4-overs, Shahid Afridi, Sohail Tanvir and Umar Gul each took one-wickets.
Nasir Jamshed named player of the match for his quick-fire 56-runs knocked off facing 35-balls including 4-sixes and 2-fours with strike rate of 160.
