New Zealand scored 120-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Ross Taylor struck 27 off 30-balls including 3-fours, Daniel Vettori cracked a unbeaten 21 off 16-balls including a boundary, Brendon McCullum 18.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Ajantha Mendis takes 2-wickets, Suraj Randiv, Angelo Mathews, Nuwan Kulasekara and Lasith Malinga each took one-wickets.
Sri Lanka scored 92 for all-out in 19.4 overs with top scorer by Angelo Mathews struck 31 off 27-balls including one-six & a four and Kumar Sangakkara 17.
New Zealand best bowler by Scott Styris picked up 3-wickets, Kyle Mills takes 2-wickets, debutant Andy McKay - who took two-wickets and on his debut T20I match and one for Daniel Vettori.
Scott Styris named Player of the match for his excellent bowling performance to picking 3-wickets for 10-runs in 3-overs.
