Nathan McCullum, Scott Styris combined six-wickets sets up to New Zealand easy 7-run victory via DLS method over Zimbabwe and enter into Super Eights in a rain-hit game of the World Twenty20 Group B match.
* Zimbabwe's 84 was tenth lowest ever score in T20 internationals and fifth worst total in World Twenty20.
Zimbabwe scored 84 for all-out in 15.1 overs with top scorer by Tatenda Taibu struck 21 off 14-balls including 3-fours with strike rate of 150, Hamilton Masakadza cracked a run-a-ball 20-runs with 2-fours and Greg Lamb 14 not out.
New Zealand best bowler by Scott Styris picked up 3-wickets for 5-runs in 2-overs, Nathan McCullum takes 3-wickets, Daniel Vettori took two-wickets and one for Tim Southee.
New Zealand chased 36-1 in 8.1 overs - due to rain DLS par score 29 after 8.1-overs New Zealand were 7-run ahead of the par score when the match-stopped - with top scorer by Brendon McCullum 22 not out and Martin Guptill 6 not out.
