Three-wicket hauls from Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins after rapid knocks from David Warner and Shane Watson helped to Australia massive 94-run victory over Pakistan and avoid the series whitewash in a one-sided game of the third T20I.

Match Stats :
  • Australia's 94-run win was the their second largest victory by terms of runs in T20 international and It is their biggest win against Pakistan in T20Is, previous biggest win was 34 at Gros Islet in the 2010 World Twenty20.
  • Pakistan's 74 was their lowest score in T20 internationals, previous lowest total was 89 against England at Cardiff in 2010.
  • 111 : David Warner and Shane Watson set up the highest opening partnership for Australia. It is also the second century stand between the two batsmen after their 104-run stand against India in the Twenty-20 World Cup in 2010.
  • The number of sixes hit in Australia's innings (12) is joint-fourth on the list of most sixes hit in a single innings by Australia. The highest is 16 against India in Barbados in 2010.
  • It is only the second time that Pakistan have had a completed innings (ten dismissals) with none of the batsmen reaching 20. The last time was against England in Cardiff in 2010.
  • Brad Hogg's economy rate of 2.75 was the best economical bowling performance for Australia in a full spell in T20 internationals, surpassing the Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell's economy rate of 3.

Australia scored 168-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by David Warner 59, Shane Watson blasted a 47 off 32-balls including 5-sixes & a four with strike rate of 146.87 and Glenn Maxwell struck 27 off 20-balls included 3-fours and a six.

Pakistan best bowler by Saeed Ajmal, Umar Gul, Yasir Arafat each took two-wickets and one for Raza Hasan.

Pakistan scored 74 for all-out in 19.1 overs with top scorer by Nasir Jamshed 17 and Yasir Arafat 15

Australia best bowler by Mitchell Starc takes 3 for 11-runs in 3.1 overs, Pat Cummins picked up 3-wickets for 15-runs in 4-overs, Brad Hogg, Glenn Maxwell and Shane Watson each took one-wickets.

David Warner named Player of the match for his rapid 59-runs knocked off facing 34-balls including 6-sixes and a four with strike rate of 173.52.

Saeed Ajmal earned player of the series for picking up 6-wickets in the three-match series.
