A superb unbeaten half-centuries by Alex Hales and Craig Kieswetter after Ravi Bopara's 4 for 10 helped to England record ten-wicket victory over West Indies and take a 1-0 lead in a one-sided game of the first T20I.

* The ten-wicket win was England's first and the sixth overall in T20 internationals. It is also the first such defeat for West Indies.

* 128 : Craig Kieswetter and Alex Hales set up the record first-wicket partnership for England in T20 international and the eighth-highest opening stand in T20Is.

* Ravi Bopara's 4 for 10 was the best bowling figures for England in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous best of 4 for 22 jointly held by Paul Collingwood and Jade Dernbach.

* West Indies lost their last 7-wickets for 28 runs and collapsed from 97 for 3 to 125 all out. This is the lowest aggregate for the last seven wickets for West Indies in Twenty20 internationals.

West Indies were 97-3 to 125 for all-out in 19.4 overs with top scorer by debutant Johnson Charles - who scored 36 off 39-balls on his debut T20I match - including 3-fours and a six.

Dwayne Smith blasted a 33 off 21-balls Included 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 157.14, Danza Hyatt cracked a 28 off 26-balls including 2-sixes and a four.

England best bowler by Ravi Bopara claims 4-10, Samit Patel takes two-wickets, Jade Dernbach and Graeme Swann each took one-wickets.

England chased 128-0 in 15.2 overs with top scorer by Alex Hales blasted a unbeaten 62 off 48-balls including 8-fours & a six with strike rate of 129.16 and Craig Kieswetter struck a 58 not out off 49-balls included 3-fours and 2-sixes.

Ravi Bopara named Player of the match for his excellent bowling performance to claimed a career-best 4-wicket haul for 10-runs in 3.4 overs.
