Stunning centuries from Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid sets up to India record 157-run victory over Sri Lanka in a one-sided game of the World Cup 21st match.

* India's 157-run win was their largest victory by terms of runs in One-day internationals, also the their largest-victory in World Cups and the ninth biggest victory in World Cups.

* Sourav Ganguly's 183 was the fourth highest individual score in One-day internationals and the second highest-score in World Cups.

* 183 - Sourav Ganguly became the highest individual scorer for India in ODIs breaks the previous record by Kapil Dev 175* against Zimbabwe at Tunbridge Wells in 1983.

* 7 : Sourav Ganguly hit the most sixes in an innings by an Indian batsman in One-day internationals and the joint-fifth in the list of most sixes in an innings in ODIs.

* Rahul Dravid's 145 was the fourth highest individual score for India in One-day internationals and the joint seventh highest score in World Cups (Jointly with Aravinda de Silva's 145 vs Kenya at Kandy in 1996).

* India's 373 was the second highest-ever-score in One-day internationals, also the second highest in World Cups and it is their highest total in ODIs.

* 318 : Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid set up the record any-wicket partnership in One-day international cricket history, it is also the record in World Cups and the highest second-wicket stand in ODIs and it is also the highest in World Cups.

* 84 : Chaminda Vaas became the joint-seventh most runs conceded by a bowler in ODIs and it is fourth most runs-conceded in World Cups.

* Eric Upashantha became the joint 13th most runs conceded by a bowler in ODIs and it is eighth most runs-conceded in World Cups.

* Robin Singh's 5 for 31 was the tenth best bowling figures for India in One-day international, it is India's best figures in World Cups, it is the ninth best bowling-figures in World Cups and India's third best figures against Sri Lanka in ODIs.

India scored mammoth total of 373-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Sourav Ganguly 183 - which was his 7th ODI hundred.

Rahul Dravid scored a career-best 145 off 129-balls - which was his 5th ODI hundred and his second century in this tournament - including 17-fours & a six with strike rate of 112.40.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Pramodya Wickramasinghe picked up 3-wickets, Sanath Jayasuriya and Chaminda Vaas each took one-wickets.

Sri Lanka scored 216 for all-out in 42.3 overs with top scorer by Aravinda de Silva struck 56 off 74-balls including 7-fours, Arjuna Ranatunga cracked a 42 off 57-balls included seven boundaries.

Roshan Mahanama scored 32 off consuming 45-balls included 3-fours and Marvan Atapattu cracked a run-a-ball 29-runs including 5-fours.

India best bowler by Robin Singh claimed 5-wicket haul for 31-runs in 9.3 overs, Anil Kumble, Debasis Mohanty and Javagal Srinath each took one-wickets.

Sourav Ganguly named Player of the match for record-breaking 183-runs knocked off facing 158-balls including 17-fours and 7-sixes with strike rate of 115.82.
