Magnificent Martin Guptill's maiden T20I century gives New Zealand last-ball thrilling eight-wicket victory via DLS method over South Africa and level the series 1-1 in a last-ball thriller in the third T20 international.

Match Stats : New Zealand chased 166 was their second highest successful run-chase in T20 international and It is their second highest chase against South Africa in T20Is. Martin Guptill became the second New Zealand batsman to score a hundred in T20 international after Brendon McCullum's two centuries and overall the eighth player in T20Is. Martin Guptill becoming only the second player to scored a hundred while run-chasing in a T20 international after Richard Levi against New Zealand at Hamilton in this year. This is the second time New Zealand produced two fifty-plus partnerships for the first-wicket and second-wicket. The first occasion came against Zimbabwe at Harare in 2011. South Africa's 165 was their joint third highest score against New Zealand in One-day internationals.

South Africa scored 165-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Faf du Plessis blasted a 63 off 43-balls including 8-fours & a six with strike rate of 146.51.

Henry Davids hammered a 55 off 38-balls including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 144.73 and David Miller blasted a 33 off 18-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 183.33.

New Zealand best bowler by Doug Bracewell picked up 3-wickets, Mitchell McClenaghan and Ronnie Hira both took one-wickets.

New Zealand chased 169 for 2 in 20 overs with top scorer by Martin Guptill 101 not out off 69-balls - which was his 1st T20I hundred.

Rob Nicol scored 25 off 24-balls including 4-fours and Brendon McCullum 17 not out.

South Africa best bowler by Ryan McLaren and Robin Peterson both took one-wickets.
