Thisara Perera and Angelo Mathews stars as Sri Lanka crushing 37-run victory over Pakistan and take a 1-0 lead in a low-scoring game of the first T20 international.
* Pakistan's 95 was their second lowest score in T20 international and It is their worst against Sri Lanka in T20Is.
Sri Lanka scored 132-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Thisara Perera 32 not out, Debutant Lahiru Thirimanne - who scored 30 off 25-balls on his debut T20I match - including 5-fours and Kumar Sangakkara 19.
Pakistan best bowler by Sohail Tanvir picked up 3-wickets for 12-runs in 4-overs, Saeed Ajmal took two-wickets and one for Mohammad Sami.
Pakistan scored 95 for all-out in 17.4 overs with top scorer by Ahmed Shehzad struck 32 off 42-deliveries including 3-fours & a six and Umar Akmal 12.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Angelo Mathews, Lasith Malinga, Nuwan Kulasekara each takes 2-wickets, debutant Sachithra Senanayake - who took two-wickets on his debut T20I match and one for Thisara Perera.
Thisara Perera named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took one-wicket after scoring a quick-fire unbeaten 32 off 16-balls including 2-sixes and 2-fours with strike rate of 200.
