All-round performance from JP Duminy led to South Africa pull off a 12-run victory over Sri Lanka, despite a Kumar Sangakkara's masterclass 59* in a low-scoring thriller of the first Twenty20 international.
South Africa scored 115-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by JP Duminy 51, David Miller 25 and AB de Villiers 15.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Sachithra Senanayake picked up 3-wickets for 14-runs in 4-overs, Angelo Mathews, Ajantha Mendis and Lasith Malinga each took one-wickets.
Sri Lanka scored 103-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Kumar Sangakkara cracked a unbeaten 59 off 53-balls including 9-fours and Kusal Perera 11.
