Tillakaratne Dilshan century steers to Sri Lanka comprehensive 35-run victory over Australia, despite a David Warner assault and wrap up 1-0 lead in the first T20I.

* Tillakaratne Dilshan hammered a 55-ball second fastest century in T20 international cricket history and became the second Sri Lankan batsman to score 100 in T20Is after Mahela Jayawardene.

* Tillakaratne Dilshan became the third-highest scorer in a T20 international.

* Tillakaratne Dilshan's 104* was the highest individual score by a captain in T20 international cricket history.

* Sri Lanka's 198 was their fourth highest score in T20 internationals and also their highest total against Australia in T20Is.

Sri Lanka scored massive total of 198-3 in 20 overs with top scorer by Tillakaratne Dilshan 104 not out - which was his first T20I hundred.

Kumar Sangakkara struck 30 off 22-balls including 4-fours and Jeevan Mendis blasted a unbeaten 29 off 19-balls included four-fours with strike-rate of 152.63.

Australia best bowler by Brett Lee, Shane Watson and Mitchell Johnson each took one-wickets.

Australia scored 163-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by David Warner blasted a 53 off 31-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 170.96.

Steven O'Keefe hammered a quick-fire 12-ball 22-runs including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 183.33 and Mitchell Johnson 22 not out.

Sri Lanka best bowler by debutant Dilruwan Perera - who picked up 3-wickets on his debut T20I match, Nuwan Kulasekara takes 2-wickets, debutant Rangana Herath - who took one-wicket on his debut T20I match and one for Suranga Lakmal.

Tillakaratne Dilshan named player of the match for his magnificent unbeaten 104-runs knocked off facing 57-balls including 12-fours and 5-sixes with strike-rate of 182.45.
