Mohammad Shahzad 80 helped to Afghanistan comfortable eight-wicket victory over Oman and storm into the finals in the Desert T20 Challenge first Semi-final match.
* This was Afghanistan's fifth consecutive win over Oman in T20 internationals.
Oman scored 149-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Zeeshan Maqsood struck 33 off 36-balls including 2-fours & a six.
Naseem Khushi blasted a 29 off 17-balls including 3-sixes & a four with strike rate of 170.58, Khurram Nawaz 24, Ajay Lalcheta 16 and Aqib Ilyas 15.
Afghanistan best bowler by Fareed Ahmad picked up 3-wickets, Rashid Khan took two-wickets and one for Samiullah Shinwari - Amir Hamza.
Afghanistan chased 150-2 in 18.2 overs with top scorer by Mohammad Shahzad 80, Nawroz Mangal struck 34 off 30-balls including 4-fours & a six and Asghar Afghan cracked a unbeaten 25 off 18-balls included 2-fours & a six.
Oman best bowler by Khawar Ali and Bilal Khan both took one-wickets.
Mohammad Shahzad named player of the match for his match-winning quick-fire 80-runs knocked off facing 60-balls including 8-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 133.33.
