Bowlers attack before Eoin Morgan's quick-fire half-century and Joe Root's run-a-ball 46* helped to England comfortable seven-wicket victory over India and take a 1-0 lead in the first ODI.

India scored 147-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by MS Dhoni cracked a unbeaten 36 off 27-balls including 3-fours.

Suresh Raina blasted a 34 off 23-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 147.82 and Virat Kohli scored 29 off 26-balls included 4-fours.

England best bowler by Moeen Ali took two-wickets, Tymal Mills, Chris Jordan, Liam Plunkett and Ben Stokes each took one-wickets.

England chased 148-3 in 18.1 overs with top scorer by Eoin Morgan struck 51 off 38-balls including 4-sixes & a four, Joe Root cracked a run-a-ball unbeaten 46-runs included 4-fours, Sam Billings 22 and Jason Roy 19.

India best bowler by Yuzvendra Chahal took two-wickets and one for debutant Parvez Rasool - who took one-wicket on his debut T20I match.

Moeen Ali named Player of the match for his brilliant spin bowling performance to took 2-wickets for 21-runs in 4-overs.
