Jasprit Bumrah conceded just two runs and took two wickets in the final over to India pulled off a thrilling 5-run victory over England and level the series with 1-1 in a high-voltage game of the second T20I.

Match Stats : 
  • India's 5-run win was their joint fourth smallest victory by terms of runs in T20 international and It is their narrowest win against England in T20Is, previous smallest win by 18-runs at Durban in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20.
  • India's 144 was their second lowest score against England in T20 internationals.
  • England's 139 was their third lowest score against India in T20 internationals.
  • 56 : KL Rahul and Manish Pandey set up the second highest fourth-wicket partnership for India against England in T20 internationals. 
  • 52 : Joe Root and Ben Stokes set up the second highest fourth-wicket partnership for England against India in T20 internationals.
  • KL Rahul's 71 was the highest score by an India batsman against England in T20 internationals, surpassing the previous record of 68 held by Virender Sehwag at Durban in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20.

* 5 Runs conceded by Jasprit Bumrah in his last two overs, also taking two wickets. He gave three runs in the 18th over and two runs in the 20th over.

India scored 144-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by KL Rahul blasted a 71 off 47-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 151.06.

Manish Pandey struck 30 off 26-balls including a boundary and Virat Kohli 21.

England best bowler by Chris Jordan picked up 3-wickets for 23-runs in 4-overs, Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid and Tymal Mills each took one-wickets.

England scored 139-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Ben Stokes blasted a 38 off 27-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 140.74.

Joe Root cracked a run-a-ball 38-runs including 2-fours, Eoin Morgan 17 and Jos Buttler 15.

India best bowler by Ashish Nehra picked up 3-wickets for 28-runs in 4-overs, Jasprit Bumrah took 2-wickets and one for Amit Mishra.

Jasprit Bumrah named Player of the match for his sensational death bowling performance to took 2-wickets for 20-runs in 4-overs.
