Record Partnership from David Warner and Glenn Maxwell helped to Australia thrilling last-ball five-wicket victory over South Africa, despite a Faf du Plessis assault and level the series 1-1 in a high-scoring thriller of the second T20 international.

* Australia chased 205 was the fourth highest successful run-chase in T20 internationals.

* 161 : David Warner and Glenn Maxwell set up the record for the highest fourth-wicket partnership in T20 international cricket history and the fourth any-wicket stand in T20Is.

* Australia's 205 was their seventh highest score in T20 internationals and it is their second highest total against South Africa in T20Is.

* South Africa's 204 was their sixth highest score in T20 internationals and it is their highest total against Australia in T20Is.

South Africa scored massive total of 204-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Faf du Plessis blasted a 79 off 41-balls including 5-sixes and 5-fours with strike rate of 192.68.

Quinton de Kock cracked a 44 off 28-balls including 8-fours and a six with strike-rate of 157.14, David Miller hit 33 off 18-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 183.33.

Australia best bowler by James Faulkner picked up 3-wickers, John Hastings takes two-wickets, Mitchell Marsh took 1-wicket and debutant Ashton Agar - who took one-wicket on his debut T20I match.

Australia 32-3 to chased 205-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by David Warner 77, Glenn Maxwell blasted a 75 off 43-balls including 7-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 174.41 and Steve Smith 19.

South Africa best bowler by Kagiso Rabada, Dale Steyn both took two-wickets and one for Chris Morris.

David Warner named Player of the match for his match-winning rapid 77-runs knocked off facing 40-balls including 6-fours and 5-sixes with strike rate of 192.50.
