* India's 93-run win was their biggest victory by terms of runs in T20 international cricket history.

* Sri Lanka's 93-run defeat was their worst by margin of runs in T20Is.

* 19 : Yuzvendra Chahal became the leading T20I wicket-taker in 2017.

* Yuzvendra Chahal's 4 for 23 was his second best bowling figures for India in T20 international and the third best bowling figures by an Indian bowler against Sri Lanka in T20Is.

India scored 180-3 in 20 overs with top scorer by KL Rahul struck 61 off 48-balls including 7-fours & a six, MS Dhoni hammered a unbeaten 39 off 22-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 177.27.

Manish Pandey blasted a unbeaten 32 off 18-balls including 2-sixes and 2-fours with strike rate of 177.77, Shreyas Iyer 24 and Rohit Sharma 17.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Angelo Mathews, Thisara Perera and Nuwan Pradeep each took one-wickets.

Sri Lanka scored 87 for all-out in 16 overs with top scorer by Upul Tharanga 23 and Kusal Perera 19.

India best bowler by Yuzvendra Chahal 4-23, Hardik Pandya picked up 3-wickets, Kuldeep Yadav took two-wickets and one for Jaydev Unadkat.
