Indian captain Rohit Sharma smashed a rapid 118-runs knocked off facing 43-ball including 12-fours and 10-sixes helped to India posted a mammoth total of 260 against Sri Lanka in the second T20 international.
* Rohit Sharma equalled a 35-ball joint fastest century in T20 international cricket history, jointly with David Miller's 35-ball hundred against Bangladesh at Potchefstroom in this year.
* Rohit Sharma became the first Indian batsman to score two centuries in T20 internationals cricket history and overall the fifth player in T20Is.
* Rohit Sharma plundered 118 - the highest score by an India batsman in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 110* held by KL Rahul against West Indies at Lauderhill in 2016.
* 10 : Rohit Sharma hit the most sixes in an innings by an Indian batsman in T20 international cricket history and the joint fifth in the list of most sixes in an innings in T20Is, jointly with Chris Gayle and Corey Anderson.
