Rapid half-centuries from Graeme Smith and Yusuf Pathan before Shane Warne struck 16 off last 3-balls of the match to Rajasthan Royals thrilling three-wicket victory over Deccan Chargers, despite a fastest century from Andrew Symonds in a high-scoring thriller of the ninth match of a Indian Premier League.

Rajasthan Royals chased 215 was the highest successful run-chase in Indian Premier League. Andrew Symonds hammered a 47-ball fastest century in Indian Premier League, surpassing Michael Hussey's 47-ball 100 against Kings XI Punjab at Mohali in this IPL tournament. Andrew Symonds became the third batsman to score 100 in Indian Premier League after Brendon McCullum and Michael Hussey. 7 : Andrew Symonds hit the most sixes in an innings for Deccan Chargers in Indian Premier League and the second in the list of most sixes in an innings in IPL. Yusuf Pathan hammered a 21-ball fastest fifty in Indian Premier League, surpassing James Hopes' 24-ball 50 against Chennai Super Kings at Mohali in this IPl tournament. Rajasthan Royals' 217 was their highest score in Indian Premier League and the third highest total in IPL. Deccan Chargers' 214 was their highest score in Indian Premier League and the fourth highest total in IPL.

DC scored massive total of 214-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Andrew Symonds blasted a career-best unbeaten 117 off 53-balls - which was his 1st IPL hundred - including 11-fours & 7-sixes with strike rate of 220.75.

Rohit Sharma struck 36 off 30-balls including 3-fours & a six, VVS Laxman and Arjun Yadav each scored 16-runs.

RR best bowler by Yusuf Pathan, Shane Warne both took 2-wickets and one for Shane Watson.

RR chased 217-7 in 19.5 overs with top scorer by Graeme Smith blasted a 71 off 45-balls including 9-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 157.77.

Yusuf Pathan hammered a 61 off 28-balls, Mohammad Kaif blasted a 34 off 16-balls included 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 212.50 and Shane Warne hammered a unbeaten 22 off 9-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 244.44.

DC best bowler by Shahid Afridi picked up 3-wickets for 28-runs in 4-overs, Doddapaneni Kalyankrishna, Chaminda Vaas and RP Singh each took one-wickets.

Yusuf Pathan named Player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance to smashed a rapid 61 off facing 28-balls including 6-sixes and 4-fours with strike rate of 217.85 after taking 2-wickets for 20-runs in 2-overs.
