Stunning centuries from Glenn Maxwell and Alex Carey leads to Australia thrilling three-wicket victory over England, despite a powerful century from Jonny Bairstow and clinch the three-match series with 2-1 in a high-scoring thriller of the third ODI.

Match Stats : This is the England's first bilateral ODI series defeat at home since 2015. England's 202 was their joint tenth highest score against Australia in One-day internationals. Australia' 305 was their joint seventh highest score against England in One-day internationals. Australia chased 303 was their tenth highest successful run-chase in One-day international and it is their fourth highest chase against England in ODIs. 212 : Alex Carey and Glenn Maxwell set up the record sixth-wicket partnership for Australia in One-day international and the third highest sixth-wicket stand in ODIs. 114 : Jonny Bairstow and Sam Billings set up ninth highest fifth-wicket partnership for England in One-day international and it is their third highest fifth-wicket stand against Australia in ODIs.

England scored 302-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Jonny Bairstow 112 - which was his 10th ODI hundred, Sam Billings struck 57 off 58-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes.

Chris Woakes blasted a unbeaten 53 off 39-balls including 6-fours with strike rate of 135.89, Eoin Morgan hit 23 off 28-balls included 4-fours and Tom Curran 19 not out.

Australia best bowler by Adam Zampa, Mitchell Starc both picked up 3-wickets and one for Pat Cummins.

Australia 73-5 to chased 305-7 in 49.4 overs with top scorer by Glenn Maxwell 108 - which was his 2nd ODI hundred.

Alex Carey struck 106 off 114-balls - which was his 1st ODI century -  including 7-fours & 2-sixes, David Warner 24 and Marnus Labuschagne 20.

England best bowler by Chris Woakes, Joe Root both took two-wickets and one for Jofra Archer - Adil Rashid.

Glenn Maxwell named Player of the match for his match-winning brilliant 108-runs knocked off facing 90-balls including 7-sixes and 4-fours with strike rate of 120.

Glenn Maxwell earned player of the series for contributing 186-runs including one-century and a fifty with average of 62.
