Suresh Raina's unbeaten half-century and MS Dhoni's valuable 37 leads to Chennai Super Kings registered their historic first IPL game win against Deccan Chargers by a convincing 7-wickets and seal semi-final spot in the 54th match of a Indian Premier League.
DC scored 147-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Venugopal Rao cracked a run-a-ball 46-runs including 3-fours & a six.
Dwaraka Ravi Teja blasted a 40 off 28-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 142.85 and Scott Styris scored a run-a-ball 20-runs contained 3-fours.
CSK best bowler by Lakshmipathy Balaji, Albie Morkel both captured 2-wickets, Manpreet Gony, Muthiah Muralidaran and Makhaya Ntini each took one-wickets.
CSK chased 148-3 in 19.2 overs with top scorer by Suresh Raina cracked a unbeaten 54 off 43-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes.
MS Dhoni blasted a 37 off 25-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 148 and Stephen Fleming hit 14 off 9-balls contained 3-fours.
DC best bowler by PM Sarvesh Kumar, Pragyan Ojha and Paidikalva Vijaykumar each took one-wickets.
