All-round Kochi Tuskers Kerala registered their historic first IPL game win against Delhi Daredevils by a stunning 7-wickets in the 41st match of a Indian Premier League.
DD scored 140-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Venugopal Rao cracked a 40 off 36-balls including 5-fours.
Travis Birt blasted a 27 off 15-balls including 5-fours with strike rate of 180, Yogesh Nagar scored 18 off 23-balls included a boundary and Virender Sehwag hit 15 off 9-balls contained 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 166.66.
Kochi best bowler by Vinay Kumar, Prasanth Parameswaran both took 2-wickets and one for Sreesanth - RP Singh.
Kochi chased 141-3 in 15 overs with top scorer by Brendon McCullum hammered a 37 off 19-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 194.73.
Parthiv Patel cracked a unbeaten 37 off 31-balls including 5-fours, Brad Hodge blasted a unbeaten 24 off 13-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 184.61 and Michael Klinger scored 18 off 20-balls contained 3-fours.
DD best bowler by Roelof van der Merwe and Morne Morkel both took one-wickets.
Prasanth Parameswaran named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to took two key wickets for 29-runs in 4-overs.
