  • Ishant Sharma became the first Deccan Chargers bowler to claimed a 5-wicket haul in IPL history.
  • Ishant Sharma's 5 for 12 was the best bowling figures for Deccan Chargers in Indian Premier League history, surpassing the previous record of 4 for 6 held by Rohit Sharma against Mumbai Indians at Centurion in IPL 2009 and the third best-bowling-figures in IPL.

DC scored 129-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Kumar Sangakkara cracked a 65 off 47-balls including 10-fours with strike rate of 138.29.

Cameron White struck 31 off 34-balls including 2-fours & a six and Dan Christian scored 9 off 11-balls without a boundary.

Kochi best bowler by Vinay Kumar picked up 3-wickets for 25-runs in 4-overs, RP Singh took 2-wickets and one for Thisara Perera.

Kochi scored 74 for all-out in 16.3 overs with top scorer by Ravindra Jadeja cracked a 23 off 35-balls including two boundaries.

Thisara Perera hit 22 off 23-balls including 4-fours and Vinay Kumar scored 18 off 19-balls included 2-fours.

DC best bowler by Ishant Sharma 5-12, Dale Steyn picked up 3-wickets for 16-runs in 3.3-overs including a maiden, Amit Mishra and Manpreet Gony both took one-wickets.

Ishant Sharma named Player of the match for his pace bowling attack to claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 12-runs in 3-overs.
