Praveen Kumar's double-wicket in the final over of the match as Royal Challengers Bangalore seal an amazing 8-run victory over Kings XI Punjab, despite a Yusuf Abdulla's four-for and all-round display from Yuvraj Singh's half-century including a hat-trick in a thrilling game of the 24th match of a Indian Premier League.

  • Yuvraj Singh became the fourth player to claimed a hat-trick in Indian Premier League after Lakshmipathy Balaji, Amit Mishra and Makhaya Ntini.
  • Yusuf Abdulla's 4 for 36 was his second best bowling figures for Kings XI Punjab in Indian Premier League and also his second best-bowling-figures against RCB in IPL after his 4 for 31 at same venue earlier in this season.

RCB scored 145-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Roelof van der Merwe hammered a 35 off 19-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 184.21.

Jacques Kallis cracked a 27 off 22-balls including 4-fours, Robin Uthappa scored 19 off 17-balls included 2-fours.

Rajesh Bishnoi hit 18 off 14-balls including 2-sixes & a four and Virat Kohli struck 16 off 14-balls contained two boundaries.

KXIP best bowler by Yusuf Abdulla 4-36, Yuvraj Singh picked up 3-wickets for 22-runs in 4-overs including a hat-trick and Irfan Pathan took 2-wickets.

KXIP scored 137-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Yuvraj Singh hammered a 50 off 34-balls, Karan Goel struck 20 off 29-balls including two boundaries.

Mahela Jayawardene hit 19 off 15-balls including 2-fours and Kumar Sangakkara scored 17 off 23-balls included two boundaries.

RCB best bowler by Roelof van der Merwe, Anil Kumble and Praveen Kumar each 2-wickets.

Yuvraj Singh named Player of the match for his sensational all-round performance to scored a quick-fire 50 off facing 34-balls including 4-sixes and 3-fours with strike rate of 147.05 after picked up 3-wickets for 22-runs in 4-overs including a hat-trick with removed of Robin Uthappa (19), Jacques Kallis (27) and Mark Boucher (2).
