A superb unbeaten 47 by Ross Taylor leads to Rajasthan Royals registered their historic first IPL game win against Pune Warriors India by a tense 6-wicketsin a nail-biting 38th match of a Indian Premier League.
PWI scored 143-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Robin Uthappa blasted a 35 off 21-balls including 7-fours with strike rate of 166.66.
Manish Pandey cracked a 30 off 31-balls including 4-fours, Mithun Manhas struck 24 off 19-balls included one-six & a four and Jesse Ryder hit 18 off 12-balls contained 3-fours with strike rate of 150.
RR best bowler by Siddharth Trivedi captured two-wickets, Shane Watson, Johan Botha and Shane Warne each took one-wickets.
RR chased 144-4 in 19.3 overs with top scorer by Ross Taylor cracked a unbeaten 47 off 35-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes.
Ashok Menaria struck 29 off 22-balls including 3-sixes, Rahul Dravid scored 18 off 20-balls included 2-fours and Ajinkya Rahane hit a unbeaten 15 off 9-balls contained 2-fours with strike rate of 166.66.
PWI best bowler by Rahul Sharma picked up 3-wickets for 13-runs in 4-overs, Alfonso Thomas took one-wicket.
Ross Taylor named Player of the match for his match-winning unbeaten brilliant 47 off 35-balls including 4-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 134.28.
