Openers Shikhar Dhawan's 57-ball 95* and Dwaraka Ravi Teja fifty before Spinner Amit Mishra's 4 for 9 including a historic hat-trick gives Deccan Chargers thumping 82-run victory over Kings XI Punjab in the one-sided game of the 67th match of a Indian Premier League.

  • Amit Mishra became the first bowler to claimed two hat-tricks in Indian Premier League history.
  • Amit Mishra's 4 for 9 was the third best bowling figures for Deccan Chargers in Indian Premier League and the best-bowling-figures by an DC bowler against Kings XI Punjab, surpassing the previous record of 3 for 26 held by RP Singh at Johannesburg in the 2009 IPL edition and the tenth best figures in IPL.

DC scored massive total of 198-2 in 20 overs with top scorer by Shikhar Dhawan hammered a unbeaten 95 off 57-balls, Dwaraka Ravi Teja blasted a 60 off 41-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 146.34 and Cameron White scored a unbeaten 15 off 12-balls without a boundary.

KXIP best bowler by Paul Valthaty and Ryan Harris both took one-wickets.

KXIP scored 116 for all-out in 19 overs with top scorer by Adam Gilchrist cracked a 51 off 37-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes.

Piyush Chawla hit a unbeaten 13 off 7-balls including 2-sixes with strike rate of 185.71 and Shaun Marsh struck 13 off 8-balls contained 3-fours with strike rate of 162.50.

DC best bowler by Amit Mishra claimed a 4-wickets for 9-runs in 4-overs including a hat-trick after removed of Ryan McLaren (9), Mandeep Singh (7) and Ryan Harris (0).

Daniel Christian captured two-wickets, Dale Steyn, Jean-Paul Duminy and Pragyan Ojha each took one-wickets.

Shikhar Dhawan named Player of the match for his career-best blazing 95 off facing 57-balls including 14-fours and a six with strike rate of 166.66.
