Half-centuries from Ajinkya Rahane and Shane Watson before Ajit Chandila's stunning hat-trick gives Rajasthan Royals thumping 45-run victory over Pune Warriors India in the 60th match of a Indian Premier League.

* Pune Warriors India extended their losing streak to eight - the worst in IPL history.

  • 8 : Pune Warriors India equal the record for the most consecutive defeats in Indian Premier League.
  • Ajit Chandila became the first Rajasthan Royals player to claimed a hat-trick in Indian Premier League and overall seventh player in IPL.
  • Ajit Chandila's 4 for 13 was the second best bowling figures for Rajasthan Royals in Indian Premier League after Sohail Tanvir's 6 for 14 against Chennai Super Kings at same venue in the inaugural IPL 2008 edition and the best-bowling-figures by an RR bowler against Pune Warriors India in IPL, surpassing the previous record of 3 for 13 held by Shaun Tait at Pune earlier this month.

RR scored 170-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Ajinkya Rahane cracked a 61 off 47-balls including 7-fours.

Shane Watson hammered a 58 off 31-balls including 6-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 187.09, Rahul Dravid struck 21 off 20-balls included 4-fours and Brad Hodge scored a run-a-ball 14-runs without a boundary.

PWI best bowler by Ashish Nehra picked up 3-wickets for 23-runs in 4-overs and Angelo Mathews took one-wicket.

PWI scored 125-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Steven Smith struck 37 off 31-balls including 5-fours.

Angelo Mathews cracked a 23 off 19-balls including a boundary and Callum Ferguson hit 23 off 26-balls contained 2-fours.

RR best bowler by Ajit Chandila 4-13, Shane Watson, Johan Botha both took 2-wickets and one for Shaun Tait.

Ajit Chandila named Player of the match for his  brilliant spin bowling performance to claimed a career-best 4-wicket haul for 13-runs in 4-overs including a hat-trick after removed of Jesse Ryder (1), Sourav Ganguly (2) and Robin Uthappa (6).
