Openers 113-run stand between Gautam Gambhir and Brendon McCullum before Bowlers shine as Kolkata Knight Riders narrow 7-run victory over Pune Warriors India in a tight 47th match of a Indian Premier League.
KKR scored 150-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Gautam Gambhir hammered a 56 off 36-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 155.55.
Brendon McCullum cracked a 42 off 43-balls including 5-fours & a six and Debabrata Das scored a unbeaten 15 off 18-balls included a six.
PWI best bowler by Angelo Mathews, Bhuvneshwar Kumar both took 2-wickets and one for Murali Kartik.
PWI scored 143-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Sourav Ganguly struck 36 off 35-balls including 4-fours & a six.
Angelo Mathews hit 35 off 27-balls including 3-sixes, Robin Uthappa and Manish Pandey each scored 17-runs.
KKR best bowler by Marchant de Lange picked up 3-wickets for 34-runs in 4-overs, Sunil Narine, Jacques Kallis, Iqbal Abdulla and Rajat Bhatia each took one-wickets.
Sunil Narine named Player of the match for his excellent spin bowling performance to took 1-wicket for 13-runs in 4-overs with economy rate of 3.25.
