Bowlers, Shakib Al Hasan and Brendon McCullum guided Kolkata Knight Riders comfortable 34-run victory over Pune Warriors India and take the No.2 spot in the the 70th match of a Indian Premier League.
* Pune Warriors India extended their losing streak to ninth.
KKR scored 136-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Shakib Al Hasan cracked a 42 off 30-balls, Brendon McCullum struck 41 off 43-balls including 5-fours and Yusuf Pathan hit a unbeaten 15 off 10-balls included 2-fours with strike rate of 150.
PWI best bowler by Wayne Parnell took 2-wickets and one for Bhuvneshwar Kumar - Michael Clarke.
PWI scored 102-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Jesse Ryder cracked a 22 off 24-balls including 2-sixes.
Anustup Majumdar cracked a 17 off 22-balls without a boundary and Michael Clarke scored 13 off 18-balls without a boundary.
KKR best bowler by Yusuf Pathan captured 2-wickets for 12-runs in 2-overs, Shakib Al Hasan captured two-wickets, Rajat Bhatia, Sunil Narine, Lakshmipathy Balaji and Iqbal Abdulla each took one-wickets.
Shakib Al Hasan named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took 2-wickets for 18-runs in 4-overs after scoring a crucial 42 off 30-balls including 3-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 140.
