Half-centuries from openers Chris Gayle and Tillakaratne Dilshan before Bowlers guided Royal Challengers Bangalore comprehensive 35-run victory over Pune Warriors India in the 57th match of a Indian Premier League.
RCB scored 173-3 in 20 overs with top scorer by Chris Gayle hammered a 57 off 31-balls, Tillakaratne Dilshan cracked a 53 off 44-balls including 6-fours & a six and Saurabh Tiwary hit a unbeaten 36 off 30-balls included 3-fours & a six.
PWI best bowler by Angelo Mathews and Rahul Sharma both took one-wickets.
PWI scored 138-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Robin Uthappa blasted a 38 off 23-balls including 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 165.21.
Anustup Majumdar struck 31 off 26-balls including 4-fours and Steven Smith scored a unbeaten 24 off 25-balls contained a boundary.
RCB best bowler by Vinay Kumar picked up 3-wickets for 32-runs in 4-overs, Muttiah Muralitharan, Zaheer Khan both took 2-wickets and one for KP Appanna - Harshal Patel.
Chris Gayle named Player of the match for his power-hitting 57 off facing 31-balls including 6-sixes and 3-fours with strike rate of 183.87.
