Three-wicket hauls from Irfan Pathan and RP Singh before MS Dhoni's 80 helped to India domineering five-wicket victory over Sri Lanka and clinch the seven-match series with 6-1 in the seventh ODI.
Sri Lanka scored 244-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Russel Arnold struck 68 off 69-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes.
Marvan Atapattu scored 59 off 68-balls including 5-fours, Kumar Sangakkara hit 32 off 58-balls included 4-fours and Mahela Jayawardene 20.
India best bowler by RP Singh picked up 3-wickets for 33-runs in 10-overs including two maidens, Irfan Pathan 3-38, Ajit Agarkar took 2-wickets and one for Murali Kartik.
India chased 245-5 in 39.3 overs with top scorer by MS Dhoni struck 80 off 73-balls including 9-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 109.58.
Sachin Tendulkar cracked a 39 off 48-balls including 8-fours, Irfan Pathan 35.
Virender Sehwag hammered a 35 off 24-balls including 6-fours and Rahul Dravid cracked a unbeaten 31 off 48-balls included 2-fours.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Nuwan Zoysa takes 2-wickets, Dilhara Lokuhettige, Upul Chandana and Dilhara Fernando each took one-wickets.
Irfan Pathan named Player of the match for his all-round performance to scored a quick-fire 35 off 23-balls including 4-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 152.17 after picked up 3-wickets for 38-runs in 10-overs including a maiden.
MS Dhoni earned player of the series for contributing 346-runs including one-century and a fifty with average of 115.33.
