Brad Hodge's quick-fire 46* before Three-wicket hauls from Siddharth Trivedi and Kevon Cooper helped to Rajasthan Royals narrow 19-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders, despite a fighting knock from Eoin Morgan's 51 in the 8th match of a Indian Premier League.
RR scored 144-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Brad Hodge blasted a unbeaten 46 off 31-balls including 7-fours with strike rate of 148.38.
Ajinkya Rahane struck 36 off 34-balls including 3-fours & a six, Rahul Dravid scored 17 off 20-balls included 2-fours and Dishant Yagnik hit 16 off 11-balls contained one-six & a four with strike rate of 145.45.
KKR best bowler by Sunil Narine captured two-wickets, Laxmi Shukla, Brett Lee and Rajat Bhatia each took one-wickets.
KKR scored 125 for all-out in 19 overs with top scorer by Eoin Morgan cracked a 51 off 38-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours.
Gautam Gambhir hit a run-a-ball 22-runs including one-six & a four and Manoj Tiwary scored 14 off 13-balls contained a boundary.
RR best bowler by Kevon Cooper picked up 3-wickets for 15-runs in 4-overs, 3/15, Siddharth Trivedi captured three-wickets, Rahul Shukla took 2-wickets and one for Sreesanth - Shaun Tait.
Siddharth Trivedi named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to picked up 3-wickets for 23-runs in 4-overs.
