Dale Steyn, Amit Mishra and Thisara Perera stars as debutants Sunrisers Hyderabad registered their historic first-ever IPL match win over Pune Warriors India by comfortable 22-runs in a low-scoring third match of a Indian Premier League.
Sunrisers Hyderabad made a winning debut in the IPL as they defended a low-score of 126 against Pune Warriors India at their home ground on a slow, difficult pitch.
SRH scored 126-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Thisara Perera blasted a 30 off 18-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 166.66.
Akshath Reddy cracked a 27 off 30-balls including two boundaries, Parthiv Patel hit 19 off 18-balls included 3-fours and Kumar Sangakkara scored 15 off 16-balls contained 2-fours.
PWI best bowler by Ashok Dinda captured two-wickets, Yuvraj Singh, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rahul Sharma and Marlon Samuels each took one-wickets.
PWI scored 104 in 18.5 overs with top scorer by Robin Uthappa cracked a 24 off 22-balls including 2-fours & a six.
Abhishek Nayar hit 19 off 14-balls including two boundaries, Ross Taylor scored a run-a-ball 19-runs without a boundary and Manish Pandey 15.
SRH best bowler by Dale Steyn picked up 3-wickets for 11-runs in 3.5-overs, Amit Mishra captured 3-wickets for 19-runs in 4-overs, Thisara Perera took 2-wickets and one for Ashish Reddy.
Amit Mishra named Player of the match for his brilliant spin bowling performance to picked up 3-wickets for 19-runs in 4-overs.
